B4329 in Pembrokeshire closed due to emergency incident

The B4329 between New Inn to Brynberian is currently closed, Dyfed-Powys Police has confirmed.

The road is currently closed due to an emergency incident. The police force added: "Please avoid the area and find alternative routes for your journey. Thank you."

Traffic updates in the south Wales area

Currently, there's slow traffic on A48 at A466 Wye Valley Link Road (Highbeech Roundabout) in Monmouthshire.

Meanwhile, there's also slow traffic on A4118 Gower Road at A4216 Dillwyn Road (Sketty Cross) in Swansea.

The A4138 in both directions is now re-opened following the earlier accident investigation work from Heol Penprys (Penprys roundabout, Llanelli) to Trosserch Road (Troserch Roundabout, Llangennech) in Carmarthenshire.

Temperatures to hit 22°C after sunny March smashes records

Temperatures could hit as high as 22°C in Wales on Friday, after the Met Office recorded one of its sunniest March since records began. For the last few weeks, most of Wales and the rest of the UK have been experiencing dry and sunny weather.

17-year-old boy dies after stabbing at an athletic event in the US

A 17-year-old boy has died after he was allegedly stabbed to death at an athletic event in the US.

Austin Metcalf, 17, was attacked - allegedly by another pupil - after an altercation at the Frisco Independent School District's athletics stadium in Austin, United States, on Wednesday.

Emergency services rushed to the scene and, despite paramedics performing CPR, Austin was pronounced dead, reports the Mirror.

The A4138 in both directions is currently closed due to accident investigation work from Heol Penprys (Penprys roundabout, Llanelli) to Trosserch Road (Troserch Roundabout, Llangennech), Inrix has reported.

Traffic is said to be coping well.

Met Office forecast for Thursday

It will mostly be fine with some warm sunshine, but breezy at times, according to the Met Office.

Here's the full forecast for Wales today:

Any low cloud clearing, then a bright and breezy day with warm sunshine. Turning cloudier through the afternoon with a chance of showers moving into the south of Wales later. Becoming rather windy. Maximum temperature 19 °C."
