How to install Diablo 2 from Blizzard? ›

After you add Diablo II (2000) to your Battle.net Account, you can find the game key in Account Management. To find your key, click Games & Subscriptions and scroll down to the Classic Games section. There you will find the game key associated with Diablo II (2000), and a link to download the game client.

Open the Diablo II folder. Select all files for the character or characters you wish to copy over, right click, and choose Copy. Navigate back to the Saved Games folder above and enter the Diablo II Resurrected folder* Right click inside of this folder and choose Paste.

To install Diablo II you must enter a Diablo II key. You cannot use a 16 digits physical CD key to install online. Please redeem your 16 digit physical CD key on your Battle.net account. This will convert it to a new 26 digit digital license key that will be permanently stored on your Games & Subscriptions page.

Just download it from the blizzard store. You won't need your disc to install it OR play it. And yes, you can download it without paying for it. Simply make a blizzard account, go to add game, add the CD keys for diablo 2 and expansion, download and play.

If you receive this error when login to Diablo II it means your authentication key was banned from play for a breach of the Terms of Use or because the payment for the game failed or was declined. Diablo II bans are permanent. Customer Support cannot reactivate a disabled key.

A CD Key is a printed combination of letters and numbers, found on a card, sticker, or disc included with your game's packaging. For online purchases where no physical media is shipped, the CD Key is usually included in the emailed purchase receipt.

If you accidentally deleted a character, or your character expired due to inactivity, you will need to create a new character and start over. Customer Support cannot restore Diablo II characters.

Can I transfer a game from Blizzard to steam? ›

Steam and Battle.net are distinct, unaffiliated platforms. Therefore, Battle.net licenses, including Diablo IV, cannot be transferred or exchanged for their Steam counterparts.

Installing & Accessing Destiny 2

Once players are logged into the Microsoft Store or Xbox App on PC, type "Destiny 2" in the search bar and click on Destiny 2 and press the "Get" button to purchase the title. Players can then initiate the installation from this same store page.

Open the Blizzard Battle.net Desktop Application and go to the correct tab for the game you'd like to install. Hit the Install button. Under "Install Location," browse to the correct drive and folder you'd like to use for the installation. Click "Start Install"
